Over de banaliteit van de waarheid.

Wat is waarheid?
Daar gaan we nu toch niet moeilijk over doen.
"Een ware bewering is er een die overeenstemt met de werkelijkheid."
Veel gekker moet het voor mij niet worden.

" in werkelijkheid is de waarheid doodgewoon. Een ware bewering is er een die overeenstemt met de werkelijkheid. "
"In werkelijkheid is de waarheid datgene wat overeenstemt met de werkelijkheid", zou men kunnen zeggen.
Dat maakt uiteraard dat deze stelling waar is.

Nu is er in de filosofie echter wel een probleem met stellingen.
Althans als we kunnen voortgaan op een filosoof als Bertrand Russell

"Moore and Russell came to reject the identity theory of truth in favor of a correspondence theory, sometime around 1910 (as we see in Moore, 1953, which reports lectures he gave in 1910–1911, and Russell, 1910b). They do so because they came to reject the existence of propositions. Why? Among reasons, they came to doubt that there could be any such things as false propositions, and then concluded that there are no such things as propositions at all."
